Few bicycle stories in Damascus

When I was in Damascus I couldn’t see even a woman riding a bike. Why? May be because it’s unacceptable or may be because there is not such tradition for women to ride bicycles. I took some of those pictures in Old Damascus in 2011-2012 – the last peaceful days in Damascus. The Old Phoenix were staying on the street abandoned. One day I saw that there is no saddle on it. The other picture is in front of the Internet coffee in Old Damascus. After few months the Internet coffee was closed.
